Lime Kilm Job Before 2

Stucco Repair Around Electrical Panel

Here is another example of a smaller stucco repair job that was a result of an electrical panel change. The old panel was smaller and was positioned just to the right of the new one.

The stucco patch was broken out along the edges a little bit more to provide a more seamless finish and a better bond for the new existing stucco to adhere to.

A scratch coat, brown coat and finish coat was applied using a traditional cement based finish to match the existing texture as closely as possible, which was more than likely sprayed on.

The stucco finish was then painted to match the existing color on the building and the overall repair was pretty seamless due to the location of the patch and the very close color match that I was able to achieve.

  • Type of Repair: Electrical panel replacement
  • Process of Repair: There was a little demo that had to be done and then a scratch, brown and finish coat was applied. I also painted the patch area upon request of the client and the paint was custom matched.
  • Stucco System: Three coat stucco system
  • Location of Project: Grass Valley, California
